Baby Alice’s Birthday!

It was December the 10th on Thursday and Baby Alice was coming to celebrate her birthday even know her birthday was the day after we still did it. First Alice was playing around with the toys on the green mat and having a nice time then Mrs Ward put a chair in the middle of the mat and Baby Alice, held on to it and stood. Mrs Webber held out a toy at Baby Alice and she nearly grabbed it then got of the chair and crawled to it so that was disappointing. Then Alice had a little grin on her face like she was tricking us. Nathan’s Mum was watching and taking photos and she brought cupcakes for everyone I got the second to last chocolate cupcake and it was scrumptious! Baby Alice got a banana cupcake and she wasn’t even eating it she just gave it to her dad which also came along, then her dad passed it back but she didn’t want to eat it even know it was a CUPCAKE!

Then Mrs Ward gave a book to Mrs Webber and it was of all the R.O.E stuff me and my class did throughout the year. Then it was time for Baby Alice to go home and i’m sure she had a good time.

My Nile Boat

MY NILE BOAT!

Last night I made a Nile boat it was like 8:45 or 9 and I had to make it quickly it has sails so it blows in the wind and it's made out of a soap bottle. For the sails I had to stick this stick green thing on plastic and then I had to stick it on the boat so the boat just moves by the wind. :)

Howard Carter Diary Entry

Dear Diary I've been searching for a that has not been robbed and it's already been 5 years now and Lord Carnavon has given me one more chance to find a tomb that had not been robbed...

Dear Diary I found this old worker shelter and I dug next to it and found some stone and I thought what could be under this stone so I mined it and a found a step I thought this could be it! And then I dug and found another step and another and another and more then I found a stone wall, I could see that it had been broken in before, so I lost hope.

Dear Diary I told Lord Carnavon what I had found and he rushed over to Egypt I tried breaking through the stone so there was a human sized hole so I hoped in and you couldn't believe what I found there were gold boxes everywhere and chests and chests full of gold but then I opened a box then another, box then another and I found the tomb of Tutankhamen I saw wood with gold over it and the last layer was solid gold I couldn't believe I found this I was now famous.

Dear Diary this was a wonderful find and it's amazing that I found it but I now must carry on with life...    

Nathan's Grandad Comes

Today Nathan's Grandad came and he talked a lot about ancient Egypt he talked about the 12 hours of darkness and the 12 monkeys and he mostly talked about Tutankhamen his original name was Tutankamun he was called Tutankamun because his father Amun which Amun was the King of the Gods. Howard Carter had found the entrance down to Tutankhamen's Temple right next to a small worker cavern but that took 5 years so Lord Carnavon gave Howard 1 more chance and he found it!

Tutankhamen was found in a Sarcophagus with wood covered with gold then there was more wood and more wood then... solid gold and under that solid gold was Tutankhamen. He looked kind of gold because he had been in the Sarcophagus more then 3,000 years so that's why he looked gold. First Howard had to dig all the way down to the end of the staircase then there was a limestone door so Howard and his workers had to break a small hole in the limestone and the first room was called the Anti-chamber which was the first chamber.

It was full of gold and wood things it had Tutankhamen's throne,his boy stool and gold and wood boxes full of jewelry. 

Tutankhamen was found in the Valley of the Kings where 30 other kings before him were buried. There was a sculpture of Isis on the gold/wood boxes it was like she was protecting it and if you didn't know Isis is a goddess. There was a box that all the origins and stuff like that were kept not the brain because Tutankhamen didn't need a brain for the Afterlife Egyptians thought the box had three Tutankhamen looking heads on top and you had to remove those to get to all the stuff inside.

Egyptians thought there was 12 hours of darkness before the kings would go to the Afterlife so they put 12 monkeys to protect the kings from that on the walls. Nathan's Grandad also told the Year 4's and me about how people were mummified but it's kind of disgusting so they pull out the brain with a hook and throw it in the trash and all the other things the Egyptians thought the kings didn't need for the Afterlife then they rapped them in bandages.

 In all the rooms in Tutankhamen's Temple it was full of boxes and pieces and pieces of gold if you gave a solid gold statue to the bank you would get 80 million dollars back! The End.

TUTANKHAMEN

Tutankhamen died in 1327 or 1324 B.C! and it's 2015 now so that's around 3,000 years ago! Archaeologist Howard Carter wanted to set adventure to find Tutankhamen's Tomb and so he did. In 1922 he discovered The tomb and he became very very famous for discovering the Tomb of Tutankhamen.

Kings were very important to the Egyptians but Tutankhamen was the youngest king and died around 17-19 and became king and the age 8 or 9 but Tutankhamen wasn't that famous as a king until he died and then Tutankhamen became mysterious and famous and also there was THE MUMMY'S CURSE!

Also Tutankhamen was buried in the Valley Of The Kings! And people thought or it might be true that Tutankhamen was bludgeoned to death!

COWMAN! “Hi i'm nananananananananana COWMAN!” said Cowman “and today i’m going to destroy cow destroyer 2015!” said Cowman again then cow destroyer 2015 said “You are never gonna defeat me!” then Cowman said “SCREW IT” and he threw Cow Destroyer 2015 out of the window  “OWWWW!” said Cow destroyer 2015. then when cowman’s owner came home cowman turned into a cow “MOO!” cowman said his owner said
“did you break the window again” and cowman said “no i mean moo!”  “AHHHH MY COW TALKED” said cowman’s owner but cowman threw him out of the window “AHHHH” shouted cowman’s no longer owner.

Then cowman came to his fellow sheep man's house and said “sup Sheepman nice to bahhhh you again!”  “hahahahahah LOL!!!!!!” said Sheepman “time to fight some sheep Destroyers” said Sheepman “let's go” said cowman karank! Pow! Bam! KABAM! KAPOW! CHANG! SOCK! went cow man and sheepman well they were mooing and baaing Sheep Destroyers OUT!  “Owwwwwwww!” went all the Sheep Destroyers then Cow destroyer 2015 was back but now he was upgraded to 2016! “hahahahaha you thought it would be that easy to destroy me” shouted cow destroyer 2016 in an loud and clear evil voice “Yes i did” said Cowman “Who’s this” said Sheepman “My Enemy!” shouted cowman. then cow destroyer 2016 was shooting breaking buildings and was more powerful!

Earth was doomed But Sheepman was working on two suits one for cowman and on for him he was like sheep Stark! and cowman was like cow stark

“put on the suit” said Sheepman “ok” said Cowman. they were super awesome they looked like animals with clothes but they were super suits from mine-craft! But Cow Destroyer 2016 was still on the loose “we have to catch him” said Sheepman “but how?” asked Cowman “by using your cage in your suit it only in yours” said Sheepman “what if that’s not enough” said Cowman “just do it!” shouted Sheepman in an angry voice

Then cowman blasted out the cage but cow destroyer blasted back at him “NOOO!” shouted cowman. then cowman was trapped in his own cage! so well cowman was falling to his death sheepman was having a battle with cow destroyer 2016 “NOOO I only fight cows not sheep” said Cow Destroyer 2016 “HELP!” shouted Cowman and as he said that Sheepman caught him and took him out of the cage. “now time to destroy the cow destroyer 2016 else he will destroy all the cows in the world!” shouted cowman

well cowman was trying to defeat i mean trying to destroy the cow destroyer 2016 Sheepman was trying to figure out cow destroy 2016’s weakness and he did it was…Milking him then Sheepman went to milk him but first he saved cowman then he milked cow destroyer 2016 “owwww it hurts stop please” Shouted cow destroyer 2016 in huge pain “No you must not kill cows!” shouted Sheepman. Then Cow Destroyer turned into SHeep Destroyer 2016 “ahhhhh” shouted Sheepman “help” he said again “what is it” said cowman “cow destroyer 2016 turned into sheep destroyer 2016!” shouted sheep man in terror. then cowman took out one of his grenades and threw straight at sheep destroyer 2016 “noo please” screamed sheep destroyer 2016. Boom! but there was no effect on sheep destroyer 2016 he was just standing there and then he said “HA I TRICKED YOU!” said sheep destroyer 2016 laughing like a retarded goat.

But just as sheep destroyer 2016 was laughing sheep man and cow man went in for attack POW Bang kapow kabank sock chang bump ouch! KAPOW!     but then sheep destroyer just blasted them off him. “how did you not get hurt” said cow man  “oh yeah my suit is super!” said sheep destroyer 2016.

then cow man asked his butler al the cow “we need upgrades now” said cow man “coming right up sir” said al the cow. then  there suits could break anything so they went back to the city. “ha you 2 again I thought you ran away” said sheep destroyer 2016 “Now we have got much better super suits” said sheep man then they fought

pow bang kabang kapow sock boom!  just then sheep destroyer 2016’s suit was at 0% “Now lets get him” said cow man  KAAAAAABANG!   sheep destroyer 2016 was falling to his death but he was unconscious so he didn’t know. BANG! sheep destroyer 2016 was finally gone also if you wanna say it right dead!

“We did it!” shouted sheep man with a smile “YES FINALLY!” Shouted cow man smiling. But then it was a bigger version of him like a giant “hahahahahahahahaha yes i’m back and bigger” said sheep destroyer 2016 with a evil smile “how are we gonna do this?” said cow man “get into the cow and sheep giant robot” said sheep man “the what a what” said cow man “THE COW AND SHEEP GIANT ROBOT!” shouted sheep man “Just get in” he said again. They got into the giant robot and now it was HUGE “let’s do this” said Sheepman. Then they blasted sheep destroyer 2016 with the super blaster BOOM! sheep destroyer 2016 was down he was dead or alive Sheep man and Cow man didn’t know if he was dead.

Turns out sheep destroyer 2016 was dead and cow man and sheep man saw sheep destroyer 2016’s soul go up to hell because he tried to kill all the sheep and cows in the world.

But Sheep Destroyer 2016 was still alive and he was now Cow Destroyer 2018!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE was way way way more stronger than cow man said “we have to get stronger suits” and sheep man said “this suit is already strong enough to take down a 2020 version of him” “oh okay then” said Cow man.

Then Cow Destroyer 2018 started shooting them Boom! Boom! Boom!  went the sound of the blasters shooting out from Cow Destroyer 2018’s suit. but cow man shot it back at him BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!  “OWWWWWW” Shouted Cow Destroyer 2018 in Huge pain “I think we got him” said Sheep man “Don’t think we did” replied Cow man then someone so called Snail-man walked slowly towards  Sheep man and Cow man “hi i'm Snail-man” said Snail-man “What the ding dong” said Cow man “yes My name seems slow but i'm fast and powerful then he zoomed away and punched Cow Destroyer 2018 right in the head KAPOW! Cow Destroyer 2018 was falling to his death and BOOM!

But then over the hill side there was more weird superheroes waiting for Cow man and Sheep man not Snail-Man because he zoomed away but The weird superheroes sticked Together...

Baby Alice Comes Again For October

Yesterday 23rd of October Baby Alice came and she stood up but she was holding a chair also Mrs Webber told me and my class that Alice had been walking around the coach and holding on to try practicing walking. But Alice was really sleepy this visit and Alice pushed her way past to get to Mrs Wards phone. Alice has now started to get teeth but not fully yet and she has got a Growth Spurt also Alice was kinda talking baby talk a bit. Baby Alice was also under chairs I hope she learns how to walk soon!

Someone Important In My Life: Clement

CLEMENT

Clement is my best friend, he has green eyes, dark blond hair and really cool. Clement in the weekends sometimes wear's a hoodie, short sleeve t-shirt and shorts. Clement loves every animal, also handball and especially MINECRAFT!!! Of course on weekdays he wear's his uniform. Clement's favorite sport is SWIMMING!

Clement is fun and good all the time but sometimes we get frustrated at each other because we sometimes have different opinions. But most of the time Clement is my BFF and he will be my BFF until the end of time. Also clement is epic and brave for doing the ice bucket challenge.

The things that make me happy are MINE-CRAFT and TV also electronics. I don’t like school and chores like dishes. In my family I have 1 sister called Jade and 1 fluffy black  dog named  Ash also a mum and dad and of course me. Me and my mum bike ride a lot, Before I was born my family had a cat named Damian it was black and white. We still have a cat flap at our house. My sister is 13 and goes to N-X  school and my mum has 3 jobs! 2 of them are Millennium Reception and teaching water safety. She has one more job which is Albany Basin and Medical : Reception.

My dad works  for N-Z-I Insurance and he’s one of the bosses and ash yeah he’s a dog. I’m the only one who likes Mine-craft in my family.

San Diego Zoo

About 1 week ago me my family and a few other friends had been in America for 1 week already and the second week we went to San Diego Zoo. I loved it, at the start there were Flamingos and lots of tour buses. Most of the Flamingos didn't really stand on one leg they stood on two legs and made noises.

The rest of the zoo I saw A CUTE PANDA!, Grizzly Bears, a Cute Black Bear playing with its toy it was cute as or more then cute. I saw tigers , gazelles , polar bears with not much amount of water. There were elephants that looked like they were hugging also the best of all Baby Jaguar. I also saw a bunch of other animals that I didn't know and were weird looking. I loved the zoo and once we left we had to go shopping. The End.

Sylvia Durrant-Bird Lady Comes!

Today 31st July 2015 Sylvia Durrant the bird lady came to my school. She brought these: Tui, Kereru, Ruru/Morepork, Silvereye, Goldfinch and her 3rd dog as the others past away was called Missy!  First Missy chose me and came to me and I pat her she was soft as.

First of all she showed us a tui and we heard it squaking at us and flapping its wings then Mrs Durrant brought the introduced bird called... Goldfinch. There were two in the tiny cage. Next Mrs Durrant brought in the... Native bird called the Silvereye! it was so cute and it was like a baby and it squaked a tiny bit it was AMAZING!!!

 

Next of all ANOTHER! Bird came it was a Kereru it was SO! big and it was flapping and calling out loud and it was very scared of me and the other year fours and then Mrs Durrant put it back in its cage and it was fine. Then she brought in a......... MOREPORK it squaked and squaked and squaked that it scratched Mrs Durrant but it looked so harmless and cute.

Next was...... Max the Alexander Parrot it was a male and had beautiful light green and orange colours. Max was born with an owner so its used to being around humans and sitting on people's shoulders like a pirate parrot. Max pooped on Mrs Durrant when he sat on her shoulder.

Then Of course was the dog Missy she was so cute soft and lovely she went all around room 22 and went into the office. Missy was a penguin Dog and protected birds from cats and knew when someone was here. 

Mrs Durrant told us all about birds and her story's and how she buys food and all about donating. She also told us about how much money she needs to feed certain birds. Then it was time to go and I was a helper and I said goodbye to Mrs Durrant and Missy. In the middle of the lesson the silvereye's and goldfiches sat next to me it was AWESOME

I remember the air morphing into clouds and the city beyond me.
Do you remember the spy tower laser light course as it shone at you like dark sunshine.
Remember when it was frosty cold on the laser course.
Remember how we had to investigate and find the robbed Blue Diamond.

Noting Down Important Person In My Life

Who: MY MUM!

Why: She loves me I love her and she's MY MUM!  She cares about me all the time.

Notes From ME: She lets me stay up usually 8:30 and I can read or write till 9:00. But in the weekends she lets me stay up till 9:30! 

My Mum sometimes gives me special treats and surprises me and that's one of the awesome things about her. She also helps me with homework which is amazing. She also 4 years ago bought me a dog named Ash!

The Rabbits Come To School

Today 2 rabbits came to school. One was next to the middle playground and one was next to a bush. 2 Teachers took the rabbits to Room 16 and they are there now. My class got to come up close and pat them same as me it was amazing,One of the rabbits kept coming close to me and it was fluffy,cute and soft. The 2 rabbits licked each other and cleaned each other but there was a lot! of poop I mean about 4.

The sad thing is that Mrs Hook is taking them home and i’m like this >:( she’s taking them home because she’s got a cage for them. Mrs Hook also got to hold one rabbit and my class including me got to pat it. It was so cuddly and brown.

My class and me got to try and feed them one was greedy and one was licking itself for AGES! Then they were both licking each other. But it was time to go back to class and I was:( about that. The End.

The Lighthouse Story

One night there were people having fun. There was an angry annoyed  lighthouse keeper. He shut the window and the light went off and the window opened slowly, ‘Phhhfffhh’. The lighthouse keeper a.k.a Dan checked  the light, it was broken. He slipped. But the ships need to be warned, Dan went to open the door there were the town people. They were holding lights and they all used those lights, and the ship was warned. The End.

The Tramp Park

I see Hazel bouncing like a frog into the Air Pit.

I see my sister jumping off the Dodge-ball Court.

It looks blue and yellow

I feel my brain jiggling from all the fun.

It makes me feel happy and tired.

I hear lots of people having fun.

The Tramps feel as hard as a Rhino.

Papakura Seal Is In Town

Yesterday a seal came to Papakura. The seal decided to waddle its way across roads to get to Papakura, and at lunch time the police,the firemen and the Department Conservation staff leaded the seal back to it's home named the estuary But... The next day the seal came back to Parakura and went to the car wash, and the firemen were watching the seal so it won't harm itself or someone else. Making My Lighthouse

Today I made my Lighthouse out of cardboard. First I stuck some cardboard on top,for the roof,with a hot glue gun. Second I had to connect the light bulb and the battery,with the wires. After all that technology it was decoration time.

I put some cardboard on the bottom,and some rocks with sellotape but I need to fix that because it might fall. The End.

Diary Of Being The Bean Rock Lighthouse Keeper

Dear diary I'm back at Bean Rock lighthouse again running round in circles on the deck. My son is coming at 2:00 and i haven't seen him for 5 months. I am doing all I need to do,turning on the light at night,rowing home and back home and back but basically the lighthouse is my home. I have been mostly inside because its always been rain and thunder and the tide coming in all the time and that's so annoying. 

Dear diary its 1:45 and my son Jake is about to arrive and I can see him. But the weather today! its pouring and really foggy. Yay Jake is here, we had brunch together but i only had half a toast so Jake brought cornflakes and we had a amazing brunch together. Jake stayed for the night and he ran round the deck with me and also turned on the light at night he was so helpful. In the morning we played soccer on the deck but trust me there wasn't much space to play soccer so we played mini ball. Then at 9:00 in the morning he had to go and I stayed at the lighthouse for 8 more years and Jake cam to visit every 2 sundays. Bye Diary. :)
